When Remodeling Your Kitchen Here Are Steps:

Step #1: Permits for the Kitchen Renovation
Depending on your state and the actual county each  has different kitchen remodeling permit requirements.  Typically your general contractor or your design team handles this step into changing your kitchen design into construction plans and submits them to that county for a construction permit approval and getting it finalized.  All of our team specialists our licensed and insured.

Step #2: Demolition

In the beginning phase of your kitchen remodel we disconnect all the water, gas and electrical lines going to existing sinks, ranges, receptacles and lights. We remove all the old kitchen cabinets, appliances, countertops, lights and floor coverings.

Step #3: Mechanical, Electric & Plumbing
The next step is to have our contractors go do a “rough in” the electrical and plumbing lines (bring the wires, cables and pipes to where they need to be). Your designer or project manager will then come to ensure that all the work being done is in line with the remodeling design that you have agreed on. These electricians, plumbers and HVAC specialists have been working with us and are trusted members of TheAce Home Remodeling team.

Step #4: Rough Inspection

At this point we bring in the inspectors to make sure all work is being done to code so the job can proceed.

Step #5: The Kitchen Remodel Close

At this point,  there will be drywall placed in any of the open walls, patch any holes, paint, and lay down the flooring. Once that is complete, we set and adjust the base cabinets on top of the new floor. After that we have our professional countertop fabricator, Cristian, come in to measure the tops of the cabinets for fabrication (it can take a week or more to fabricate the countertop). While we wait for the finished countertops, we will proceed to hang and adjust the wall cabinets and install the appliances.

Step #6: Completion

Once the countertop has been installed, we have our tile specialist set the kitchen backsplash tile, the plumber returns to install the faucet and connect the appliances, and the electrician returns to install light fixtures and any device plates. Any final touch up that needs to be done is completed at this point in the kitchen remodeling project.

Step #7: Begin to Enjoy Your New Kitchen!
After the kitchen remodeling is complete, we will do our final walk through for inspection, show you before and after pictures, and discuss any other projects or work you might want done in the future.  This is when we ask all of our clients to leave us with their feedback so we can share their experiences with others.  Referrals in this business are what keeps us growing and moving forward!
